We don't want your notes.
Saved Notes is built so your notes never have to leave your device unless you decide to share one. This page explains exactly what that means, and the very little we do collect.

No tracking
Nothing in the app tracks you or links data to your identity for advertising or measurement.
No ad networks
There are no ads and no ad SDKs, so there's nothing to share your activity with.
No account
Saved Notes works fully offline. You never have to sign up to use it.
What stays on your device
Your notes, reminders, first name, list icons, and location reminders all stay on your device by default. If you turn on cloud sync, notes go to your own private iCloud database — one we have no access to — so that isn't collection in any meaningful sense. A shared or public database, or anything we could read on a server, would be different; Saved Notes doesn't use one.
The one thing we do collect
If crash reporting is configured, a crash sends a stack trace plus basic device and OS metadata — never a screenshot or a view of what you were writing, and never anything tied to who you are.
Settings the app remembers
Saved Notes reads a small amount of on-device storage to remember things like whether you've finished onboarding, your first name, your selected theme, and an internal migration flag. All of it belongs to this app alone — nothing is read from a shared app group or handed to another app.
Children, and everyone else
Because Saved Notes doesn't collect, link, or share personal data, the same privacy protections apply to every user, regardless of age. If anything about this ever changes, this page — and the app's privacy manifest it's written from — will change with it.
